About

From an extremely young age, soccer has always been my sport. At about 5 years old, I joined my first soccer team, the Norfolk Lions. Running has always been a significant part of my life, but in a more indirect way. Through club teams like Juventus, GPS, and the New England Navigators, as well as high school soccer, I developed a strong track foundation without even realizing it. My position at midfield required substantial running. At the time, I never realized how much running would later become my true passion.

It was not until I began track my freshman year that I discovered just how much soccer had shaped me as a runner. The endurance from playing full games and the ability to push through fatigue all carried over to strengthen my abilities in track. At first, I used track and field to keep me in shape for soccer, but over time, it became something more. Now, running is not just something I do, it is my passion. I joined EE to have the opportunity to train with competitive athletes, and overall improve myself as a runner.
