 • Want to continue to improve your fitness during the winter?
 • Want to prepare for your spring sports season?
 • Want to learn more about safe, smart training during a pandemic?

The Emerging Elites Winter Program is designed to provide athletes with the opportunity to train with serious and competitive peers from public, private and prep schools. Recognizing that the winter academic calendar is a busy time in our athlete’s lives, the Emerging Elites Winter Program offers two practices per week, allowing for more flexibility in their hectic schedules. The coaching staff carefully monitors each athlete’s health and progress during the winter season to maximize performance.

The Winter Program includes athletes from sprinters to mid-distance to distance athletes.

Technology for Smart Training

The Training Group is designed for athletes who have an indoor track program and are looking to supplement their scholastic training with access to great indoor training venues.

The Competitive Group is designed for athletes who do not have an indoor track program, but are interested in training and competing indoors. These athletes compete as the Emerging Elites club at several meets during the indoor season.

These meets allow Emerging Elites athletes to gain racing experience against high school, collegiate and open athletes.  All entry fees are prepaid by Emerging Elites and are billed at the end of the program.

Emerging Elites Training Logs
Training logs are an essential tool for remote training to work efficiently; every Emerging Elites athlete keeps their training log up to date providing key information related to training and recovery. Our program utilizes Google Sheets to give our Emerging Elites coaching staff the full picture of an athlete's training and health, as this is imperative for feedback from the coaches.

Weekly Training Plan
Emerging Elites coaches create individual training plans for each athlete for each day of the Winter Program. Shared via Google Sheets, training plans are updated 2-3 times weekly providing the athletes the opportunity to see their training ahead of time and ask the coaches directly any questions.

End of Season Athlete Evaluation
Head coach meets with athlete and parent(s) to discuss specific progress during the season and opportunities for future development.
